It's Preschool Time!

Well I finally feel the urge to write and let me tell you big things are happening in the Kim household...

By big, I mean preschool.  Kensleigh starts next week and she I couldn't be more excited.  We have been talking about it all summer and today was the day she got to go and meet her teachers (well one teacher, her other teacher had an emergency at home to deal with)... Now Kensleigh was bouncing around at home, ready to go and get in the car, running around being a silly, giggly little girl and then within 2 minutes of being in the car she passed out.  Yep, she sure did and there was drool...A LOT of drool...

Once I was able to awaken little miss, she was ready to go in and see her preschool.  Right when we walked in her classroom she introduced herself and then went straight to play with the kitchen.  Mikah even decided to join in on the fun and crawled right on over to be with his sister.  Kensleigh had such a big smile on her face and was beaming with happiness.

We met up with our friends and headed to the Chick Fil A and needless to say came home exhausted and ready to nap, who am I kidding both kiddos passed out on the way home and are now both wallowing around in their beds.

In a way I thought i'd be sad and emotional for this day to come but truth be told I am so excited for Kensleigh to take this next step and start this next adventure (because little miss sure does love an adventure).  I was ready and she was ready and it felt so good knowing that.

I tried to tell her she didn't need her backpack but she went to the closet and wanted to put it on anyway.

She even "packed" her own lunch.  She went to her kitchen and got lots of play food and filled her lunch box to the brim.
