Sitting @ the car dealership....

So here I am sitting at Acura waiting on an oil change, sounds boring right? But I actually have been quite productive.  First, I must say that my sweet husband let me borrow his iPad and I think I have fallen in love. (Maybe he'll read this and get a hint or maybe not) but him allowing me to use it for the morning has allowed me to get some things done verses just sitting around and waiting. Now, we are very much a Mac family and both have iPhones and love them and I mean what's the different between an iPhone and an iPad?, but somehow the iPad makes googling, checking emails, etc a little bit easier. And I love how portable and light weight it is.


As I'm sitting here I came across this blog and I really enjoyed reading the guest bloggers post.  Mostly because I'm expecting, but I thought it was a really good post.  I found myself laughing out loud a few times and nodding my head and agreeing...So maybe I'm having second thoughts on that coming home outfit...And trust me when I say I know my life will completely change! (And Danielle, we may need to have a much deeper conversation about parenting and life changes since baby....)


So on to being productive, I have paid several bills and ordered a couple things for baby girl. (just a couple) My mom keeps telling me to stop buying things for her, but just to justify my purchase... I am a member of amazon mom and I received an email from them saying I needed to order  something from the baby shop to  keep my amazon prime free 2 day shipping & by-golly I did.   


Did I mention that I love amazon?  I can find most things there and usually pay a lot less for them. There was one time when I was looking for a specific type of taco seasoning and NONE of the grocery stores around me had it.  So what did I do?  I looked on amazon and found it.  Now, it was a case of 32 packets, but we love tacos around here and especially since I've been pregnant its been one of my go to foods.


So I then compiled a list to hit up Costco.  Now, I LOVE me some Costco too.  I mainly just need detergent and a few cleaning supplies, oh and soap -I must come home with soap or Jong will beat me. No, not literally, but we really need some soap.  I've been meaning to buy some the past few times I have been to the store, but I always seem to leave it off the list and I AM a list shopper.  


I have done several loads of laundry already this morning (did I mention I have been awake since 6:30am?) and I am wishing that they would put themselves away, but thats not going to happen is it?  Nope, I didn't think so....


I have several people to call, i.e. the painter, landscaper, vet, and the lists continues... I have several things that need to get done around the house before baby girl makes her appearance.  And as I'm sitting here I'm really wishing I had a green thumb, but I don't and neither does my husband, and thats the reality.


And I need to make a pit stop by Target and Home Depot.  


Okay, onto being productive....
