Kensleigh Parker Kim

Her name....

The day Jong and I found out we were expecting we stayed up late, laying in bed talking names.  And that night we picked out our top boy name and top girl name; with a few exceptions for middle names.  And I must say we are extremely picky people- So I was surprised we were able to agree that night (although we did lay there awake for a LONG time talking and discussing)

Anywho, Kensleigh comes from my name.  I am a Kendall Leigh-So put the two together and you get Kensleigh... And Parker, well Parker we just liked. I wish I could say it was like my great grandfathers name or some other family members, but no it is not.  I will say we decided on her first name in like 5 minutes, but the middle name did take some time; we had to let it marinate for a few weeks.  We had several we really liked, but while letting her name sink in we decided Parker it is!

On a side note, my friend Lindsay helped with the name choice.  Jong and I were in Pottery Barn Kids ordering our chair for the nursery and I saw a monogrammed towel.  I then proceeded to tell Lindsay that I really liked the towel. And Lindsay stated, "Well Kendall, I do have access to a monogram machine here, if you would just decide on her middle name..."  So Jong and I proceeded to tell Lindsay the 2 choices we had for her middle name and she said, "Oh, I really like Parker."  And Jong shouted, "DONE! Her name will be Kensleigh Parker!"  And from that day forward she was Kensleigh Parker and we LOVE. IT.! So thanks Lindsay, we appreciate your help....(I guess we just needed that little extra push!

So Kensleigh Parker Kim, thats our baby girl!
