18 Weeks and feeling pretty great (with the exception of the stomach bug that took over for 2 days) Thank goodness for my husband-had it not been for him I would have called my mom and begged her to come up and help with Kensleigh. Literally could not get out of bed.
Definitely having a hard time sleeping at night-not because I'm uncomfortable yet, but mainly when I wake up for my nightly bathroom break I crawl back in bed and think of everything...
Current thoughts:
"What color should I paint Kensleigh's big girl room? Light green? turquoise? pink?"
"Should I paint a stripe at the top?"
"Well, how about the nursery? What about navy or lime green or gray?" hmmmmm....
"And then what about bedding?"
Literally toss and turn thinking about this. With Kensleigh's nursery I new exactly what I wanted to do but with baby boys I have many ideas and can't come to a conclusion. Decisions, decisions...
I'm staring to consider myself like the ladies that would come into PBK and have a million questions and want to see EVERY. SINGLE. PIECE. of bedding before making a huge mess and then not buying anything.... I really don't want to be that person.
I am mostly hot all the time too and if it weren't for Kensleigh I would probably turn on the AC, but I don't want to freeze her death. And its not even Summer yet or really Spring for that matter...
My mom bought baby boy his first little present. Its the blue seahorse that glows and plays music/ocean sounds. Kensleigh has the pink one and I started playing it for her when she was in my belly. We took it to the hospital and played it for her when she was born and she knew it and was mesmerized. So we have started playing it for baby boy at night and I have fallen asleep many nights lately with it, only to wake up to rolling on top of it when switching sides.
Speaking of beds, I think I might go crawl in mine right now-goodnight!
