I can't believe I haven't blogged since Halloween... Crazy how time flies right? So much has happened between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. So I guess I'll do a recap and then try for a fresh start this month.
Thanksgiving was crazy with traveling to Jong's parents, spending time and the night with them. Then traveling to my Aunts house the next morning (where all my Dads family gets together) and having Thanksgiving dinner (and a movie-our tradition). Then back to work for Black Friday the very next day. Thats one of the downsides to retail-not getting to spend much time with family-just sell, sell, sell. Needless to day it was fun and great getting to see everyone. Kensleigh did not sleep Thanksgiving Eve though, so mommy and daddy were very tired. However, we did squeeze in a nap on Thanksgiving thanks to DeeDee taking Kensleigh off our hands for a little while!
Christmas, was spent at our house. With both myself and Jong working so much we weren't in the spirits to do another crazy one day trip. So I cooked a big breakfast- waffles, cheesy o'brian scramble, bacon, biscuits, grits, fruit...We pretty much ate off of it all day. We snuggled, watched movies, and watched Kensleigh play with her new toys.
Santa brought Kensleigh a kitchen set. She is one lucky little girl because I'm pretty sure Santa's elves spent a good chunk of time building that kitchen set. She had a blast with it and still does every day. I mean I am a little surprised at how much she does love it. She likes to stir things in her pot, try and cut her fruit, bathe her baby in the sink, as well as feed the baby popsicles in the sink-lol. Everyday she has a ton of fun creating one big mess for mommy to clean up later! Her DeeDee got her a cute little apron to wear and I know i'm biased but she is pretty darn cute with it on.
