So here it is 6am and I can't sleep as usual. Now I know there are a lot of people that wake up around now, but me, I should still be sleeping because I only went to bed around 1am. So this gives me time to write about my wonderful friends who threw a little shower for me and Kensleigh the other night.
On Tuesday, my friend Rachel had planned a little get together for me and a couple other girlies! I must say that I owe my friendship with them to PB because I met all of them through work and we all have become dear friends who I couldn't imagine my life without.
So I met Rachel at her house, in tears I may add. ( Yes, I have now experienced what its like to to cry for no apparent reason , but I just couldn't help myself and I couldn't stop.) Darn those hormones! And Rachel and Talie took me to the nail salon (where we always go for some girl time) to get a much needed mani/pedi. It was lovely and my feet felt so much better after that; plus I'd like to think it helps the swelling some.
We all went back to Rachel's for dinner; which was so yummy! And dessert-Chocolate cupcakes topped with a ladybug cookie! (Talie had made these.) And boy were they good! Then we sat around and just talked and had some much needed girl conversation.
Rachel decorated her house so pretty, pink and green flowers and even made a banner with Kensleigh's name that she hung above the mantle. (Which I plan on putting in her nursery) So here's a few pictures from the evening. Rachel, Talie, and Lindsay Thank ya'll so much! (and I must apologize, I told myself all evening that we needed to get a picture of the 4 of us, however I left with only pictures of the decor and the cupcakes of course!
