So there's a watermelon in my tummy! Its funny how I feel like my belly hasn't gotten that much bigger from month to month, but OBVIOUSLY it has. I mean, I do realize getting out of bed has been slightly more difficult these days, but since the bump grows gradually, until I look at the pictures to compare sizes I don't realize how much "it" has actually grown.
Anywho, I am now in my 3rd trimester and I can already feel it. Even within the past two weeks I have been extremely tired; much like when I was in my first trimester. I can tell I'm getting back to no cooking and cleaning and Jong figuring out what's for dinner-I'm sure he's thrilled....
I went to the Doctor yesterday and everything is looking good. Baby girl's heartbeat was 155 and she was moving around so much it took the nurse a minute to find it. I was told to cut back my hours at work, to allow myself more rest and more time off my feet! It has been hard standing all day, so it will be nice to be able to keep them up a little bit more. And I took my glucose test yesterday, which Yay, I passed! I actually thought I failed because this morning I had a message from my doctor, but that was just to inform me that I did in fact pass, but that I needed to start taking an iron supplement because my iron levels were low. So I will be going to the pharmacy today to get them and start taking them. And now I'm starting to see the doctor every two weeks for the next month and a half, then I will start going every week! Fun huh?! I just always look forward to having to pee in that cup....
Nothing too new in the Kim household. I have been working on the nursery a little more. Its almost finished. I'm waiting on my chair for the room to be delivered and I need to decide about a bookcase, but other than that its done! We has our carpets cleaned last week and installed the baby gates; so I feel like we're almost ready. And when I say "we", I mean my dad. He came up to help us, because Jong and I put the first one up and It was a hoot-we kept blaming each other for why its wasn't working and who did what wrong. But we just needed to look at the directions more closely. So we left the last two for my dad. And he did a great job! (The baby gates are just as much for the dogs as for the baby. I had actually been putting off buying them for a while because I just didn't want to spend the money, but they have already been such a great help!)
And we got our stroller!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! My parents got it for us. I'll post a picture soon-my mom took one with me and Jong-and the dogs (I mean we couldn't leave them out) So i'll have to get her to send it to me. It's sitting in our living room at the moment so I can look at it and play with it so I can figure out how to work it. It's weird having all this baby stuff, but no baby yet. But she'll be here before we know it! I mean its already the middle of JULY-CRAZY right?
