Well, today is yet another rainy day and lucky me I was off so I was able to enjoy it at home. Now, my "off" days typically include me doing all the household chores. So it's never really a true "off "day now is it? I mean when the hubs is off he gets to take hour long naps, cuddle with the pups, and watch sports! I get stuck doing the laundry, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, vacuuming upstairs... and down and the lists continues...
Today, I was just going to do our typically laundry of our dirty clothes. I was then going to make a grocery list, go to the store, run a couple more errands while I was out, and come home to relax and finish a book I was reading (and maybe watch the foodnetwork).
However, my dogs had another plan. I say dogs because I am still not sure which one of the cute little monsters it was. I went downstairs to grab something and left them playing with some of their toys in our room. When I came back up there was a huge mess of grossness on the bed, and not just the sheets, but duvet as well. So there I was stuck taking the duvet and sheets off to wash them. Not on my list of todos for the day. I just love our dogs....
I guess you can't always plan everything and sometimes just have to go with the flow. I must say I am not that type of "going with the flow" person. I like to have it all laid out for me and know exactly what and when I am doing something.
Now, this was just a minor flaw in my day and I'm not totally trying to complain here. It's just God's way of reminding me that things don't always go as I plan them... I mean really its Him that knows all, not me. I guess I just need to pray for more of those "easy going" qualities and be thankfully that I have a bed to sleep in at night (or for the dogs to throw up on).
So I leave you with this picture of the pups, I mean really how can I stay mad at them?
